How It All Began

All my life, people have said, “You have all that hair.” And for a long time, that was true. But when I hit 40, my hair decided to take on a life of its own. One month it was thick like a forest fire, the next it was thin like the wind. Then it started switching colors — gray, light brown, black — like it was trying on new personalities. I truly thought my mind was playing tricks on me.

So, I ditched the chemicals and went fully natural in 2016. And let me tell you… going natural is NOT for the weak. I didn’t get that “good hair” grade from either side of the family, so the struggle was real.

I tried everything. A hundred products. Spent what felt like $50K — exaggerating, but it sure felt like it.

Some products were great, just not great for me. And before anybody says, “trust the process,” trust me — I DID. I’ve been in the hair game since the age of 12. If I don’t know anything, I know hair.

My momma sent me straight to the salon to watch and learn. Then my Aunt Angie graduated from cosmetology school, and it was on from there. By 14, I was a whole hair machine — bumper curls, finger waves, hair color, box braids, popcorn waves on every church lady in the building.

Fast‑forward to adulthood… My natural hair went crazy — and so did I.

I knew I needed something to keep me from going full Britney Spears. Between traveling, working 50/11 jobs, and living life, I started mixing up what I call the juice.

There were a few versions over the years, and for those who tried the early batches and thought that was something, well this liquid gold I have now is sent straight from heaven. I’m talking 30‑day results on all hair types — tested and proven.

And that’s how Kim Rose by Jackie Hair Oil was born.

My mother’s name is Jackie — and she has never been able to put one ponytail in anybody’s head. My aunts Kim and Rose tried, but they had boys first, so that didn’t help me much. I’m the first granddaughter on my maternal side, so when I was choosing a name, these three women stood out the most.

Today, Kim Rose by Jackie is more than a product — it’s a journey, a testimony, and a solution created from real experience, real struggle, and real love.
